The Almighty Denman

I have been using the Denman brush for almost a year now, and I love it. I no longer comb thru my hair in the shower, I brush through the kinks. I mentioned this brush in a previous post and decided to elaborate more on the perks the Denman has to offer. For starters the Denman D4 brush is excellent for thick and natural hair. I first learned about this brush through an interview I read in an old Jolie magazine featuring Tracee Ellis Ross (My "hair" role model!). She swore by this brush and so I did some research on it before I decided to make the actual purchase.
- The Denman brush is very affordable (I purchased mine for $10) and can be found in almost any beauty supply store.
- It is a rubber brush, and the older it gets the better it works.
- Most importantly- IT IS SAFE TO USE ON WET HAIR! At first I was a little skeptical about brushing wet hair, but it has definitely proven to be beneficial. I use it specifically to brush through conditioner. It doesn't pull or break my hair- it actually glides through the kinks.
- The Denman Brush is also great for straight hair; I have used it to wrap my hair at night.

My verdict: Not only does it help to promote healthy sheen and body, it has significantly reduced the amount of "hairs" I find stuck in my brush afterwards!!

Funny that you post about this brush because I was just looking for a great brush over the weekend and read up on the Denman. Tracee Ellis Ross swears by it. Thanks...I am gonna try it.

This brush is the bizness. My stylist uses this to blow out my hair. It takes the heat of the dryer without breaking or melting. Gets it super straight.
