Hair:
Friday, I ended up getting a wash & set at the last minute! I had planned on doing it myself but just didn't have the time. I went to one of the Dominican salons and after sitting under the dryer I just asked that they blew my roots since I wanted to keep the loose curls. Once the blow drying was done, each curl was pinned in place.
The next day I un-pinned each curl and then wrapped it up for about an hour (the curls had gotten too tight over night). When I combed my hair out, I strategically pinned each curl up and under (similar to Johnny Lavoy's directions, click here). It was pretty easy for the most part, but I was rushing and didn't have all of the correct pins! I wasn't able to be as meticulous as I usually am when it comes to my hair ;-)
Here's a look at the finished product:
Makeup:
I used the following, to create this look on my eyes (eye chart courtesy of Moi!):

-MAC Painterly Paint Pot: Used as an eyeshadow base
-MAC Kohl liner in Smolder: (see #2) Carefully lined the inner and outer corners of my eyes (similar to parenthesis), smudged inner and outer corners with a #231 small shader brush (not filling in or lining the center), blended outer corner with a #222 tapered blending brush.
-MAC eyeshadow in Goldmine: (see #1) Lightly dabbed onto the center of the eyelid up to brow with a #239 eye shading brush
-MAC Brow Finisher in Clear
-Just a touch of MAC's Mineralize blush in Nuance
-Neutral colored lip liner on lips (Didn't want glossy lips; opted for a matte look)
-Mattese false lashes, #47 (Purchased at Ricky's NYC)

Gorgeous! I agree with RenRen, very Eva Longoria.
I love your hair!! You look great! Keep it up you are doing an awesome job.
I still can't believe that your hair is this long. I remember when u did the Halle Berry cut back in 2005-ish...and 3yrs later u hair is past ur back bra strap! :) The hair style came out cute. Although u went to the dominican hair salon, I'm sure ur normal hair regimine came into play w/ the bounce and shine ;)
Awww you guys are all too kind- thanx for the kind words!!
@BonafideLatina: The salon I went to was in Bklyn. I haven't really found one in the Bronx that I'm crazy about.
