I found this interesting treat while on my trip, I thought I'd share:c
While on the avenue in Playa del Carmen, I noticed this cute little shop called Xocolate Spa (pronounced "chocolate" of course). I passed by it once then did an "about face" and dragged my boyfriend back down the block to visit it. I thought, "hey! this would be great to blog about!"

The shop was very cute and quaint, with a sliding glass door to enter. All of their products are made from 100% cocoa and if you love Palmer's you'd really love this stuff. The brand carries a line of various cocoa products, from exfoliators to candles. I purchased a jar of their cocoa butter/vanilla body cream ($24) and a lip balm ($6). The cream is very light, and a little will go a long way. The company has a website, but at the moment it's only in Spanish. Unfortunately, orders aren't being taken on the website. I've contacted the company and the owner advised me he would definitely get back to me on that, so I'll keep ya posted.

We actually have a spa similar to this in Chicago! I think its called Chocolate for Your Body and they offer some really great and unique services, not to mention the place smells great all the time. Its soo in my 2009 plans to try it out!
