Happy Friday Honeys! We made it- Another week is in the bag. I chose this weeks quote based on the volume it speaks. Short, sweet and direct to the point:"I am, was, and always will be a catalyst for change."

This one sentence means a LOT to me. I can be stubborn at times (well, most times)- especially when it comes to my personality and characteristics. I'll usually say "well, that's just me" or "that's just how I am". Whenever this occurs, one of my closest friends is always there to remind me that nothing stays the same forever, and to say such a thing is and can be considered ignorant.
I'm still a work in progress (as I'm sure we all are) but a change in order to grow is necessary and can only help to make me a better person.

Happy Friday Honey. Yes, we made it through another week and thanks for the inspirational quote. It reminds me of the DVF commercial where she says, "I wasnt sure what I was going to become, but I knew the woman I wanted to be"
If I'm not changing, I'm not growing. The things that made perfect sense years ago doesnt make sense to me anymore. and yes...I used to think "that's just how I am" but its not true. I can teach myself a new way of life and do so on a daily bases. Enjoy a beautiful weekend.

I love Shirly Chisholm. I remember learning about her in middle school, and wondering why more information wasn't about her in my American History/Government books.
Great post, I am going through a lot of changes right now but I know it is to help me grow and become a better person.
