If you got it, spend it, right? If you can afford $34,000 per night for one of NYC's most exclusive hotel suites, would you? And should you feel bad because you can? I recently read an article on WCBSTV.com about the most expensive room in NYC (click here). Located inside the Four Seasons Hotel on the 52nd floor is the Ty Warner Suite. The suite comes equipped with a full time butler, access to a chauffered luxury car, and help planning a party (to boast!). The most intriguing item inside the suite (to me) is the "smart toilet". This is no regular toilet by any means! It opens automatically, has a dryer, front and "rear" cleansing and not to mention it's HEATED. A nouveau super toilet. The suite is usually booked once a month- which is how management wants it. Every item in the room is custom made of the finest materials. Who books the room you ask? That's a secret. But I can say that we're not talking about your average celebrity. Only the wealthiest, super-rich, richer than the most richest are booking this suite. Think: International businessmen, royalty- Those who have the least chance of ever being affected by our ever-changing economy.
So, if I had the wealth to indulge in something so seemingly sinful would I? Yes, I would. And I wouldn't feel bad about it. If I can afford to pay $34g's a night for a hotel room (which is probably pocket change), I would and wouldn't think twice about it. Why should I feel bad? It's my money and I earned it!! Isn't that what we work hard for?

i think it is not criminal but stipid, even if u have it - just my frugal two cents. have a gr8 day
@ Rawdawgbuffalo: To each her (or his) own!!
I don't think I could spend that much just for one night. No matter how much money I have, that seems like a total waste. Especially because you can have a top-of-the-line night at a less expensive place. Just my 2 cents! :-)
Daaaang, that's a lot of money for a hotel stay! Nah, I couldn't do it. Even if I could. I'd feel a bit guilty knowing I could donate it to a school or something. I don't know, I'm weird like that. $34,000!! That's more than some people make in a year. Dag! I would love to see it though. :)
I don't think it's a crime - if you have it, go for it. But I won't be going for it any time soon. haha
nah, i coudn't do it. i got cousins who live in shacks in DR, even if i had it like that, i just couldn't. What does a $36,000 room have that a $1,000 or 2,000 dollar doesn't have.
Wow you guys are ALL really sensible, that's good. But I'd have to experience it at LEAST once, at least.... lol
