I know you love Jon B., who doesn't? Back in high school, "They Don't Know" was one of my favorite tunes and still is, even now. Jon seems to have a sort of a cult following these days though. Most aren't privy to the fact that he has released six albums (yes, six!), with the most recent being released two weeks ago, Helpless Romantic.Being that I don't watch a lot of television, whenever the tube does happen to be on, you can best believe I have the channel tuned to one of the Music Choice stations. This was how I came across Jon's newest single, "Ooh So Sexy". It's got a mellow, laid back sound with a cool little bass-line. It's not one of my ultimate favorites but its still comprised of the stuff good songs are made of.
Listenability? I can listen to this album without having to skip through songs (I've been listening to it every morning on my way to work!). I really like Jon B. and I wish he would get the respect he deserves, so I'm all for supporting him. I have never been disappointed by any of this man's work. I hope he continues to make good music- he's got a solid fan in me.

I loved Jon B back in highschool and "They don't know" was one of my favorite songs. I didn't even know he had a new single or even a new CD already out in stores. I'll have to stop by best buy and check it out. Thanks for the post on Jon B. I still listen to some of his past CD's. It definitely calms me.
I love Job B. and I was lucky to get to see him perform about a month ago at a street fair in LA. He opened for Brian McKnight and this is the only way I knew he had a new project! He sang "Ooh So Sexy" and I was hooked! They really do little to no promotion for Jon, it's so sad because he's so talented!
I am "still down" for Jon B lol and will def will be checking out this new album...we need some good R&B again =)
I just came across your blog. It is nice. I can't comment on Jon's music since I have never liked him.
