I recently had to make a run to Abercrombie and Fitch to pick up a hoodie for my boss (I work in the apparel industry- it's commonplace to use other brands as "inspiration"). While I was there I:1. ...Got confused and thought I was in a club. If you've ever been inside of one of these stores, you'll know what I'm talking about. It's dark, the music is loud and it was practically filled to capacity! I don't think I've ever said "excuse me" so many times in one retail store.
2. ...Couldn't help but notice the scent surrounding me. A&F uses their own fragrance line to "freshen" the air.
After taking care of business at the register, I proceeded to take care of personal business by stopping at one of the nearby fragrance displays. I ended up purchasing the A&F Classic Perfume (though the scent in the air is the "Fierce"cologne ~which I would oh-so-wear in a heartbeat~, 1.0 oz $40). It's a light scent, so light that I had to actually spritz it on my wrist in order to pick up an aroma. I like it a lot and I'm constantly reminded of that clubby place whenever I wear it.
Neither aren't bad at $40 a pop, might make the perfect gift for that special someone.

i always see the abercrombie workers sprayyyy the cologne all over the store, i'm sensitive to that so i have to keep 10 feet distance, lol
The smell and loud music of that store keeps me out.

I like the smell of that cologne. I remember always seeing a worker spraying that cologne and my friend actually ended up buying one.
abercrombie is SO obnoxious. i totally agree with you though: i feel like i'm in the club when i'm there with the loud music and overpowering smell of cologne. cute clothes, but i have to shop online because the store is ridiculous...

I had the same experience when I wnet to Banana Republic with a male friend...they have a delicious fragrance that I may purchase for myself, despite it being a cologne...i love mens cologne
fierce...smells so good its actually for men though i looove that!
