Do or Dare?
If you spent time over the weekend online (or on Twitter) you've already seen Cassie's new "do". Personally, I love it. But then again, I love anything that's not of the norm (like my nails for instance: the ring fingernail on both hands are painted red while the others are a pale vanilla-pink).

I'm all for doing wild, daring crazy things with my hair and appearance, but I am just not feeling this. I have shaved my head before ( actually twice) so I can relate to how liberating this can be. But she didn't do anything.... all she did was shave one half LOL. I think she looks ridiculous. This would have been really cute if the side she didn't shave was cut into layers or something, not just left hanging there....
I'm definitely not normal but I hate that look, lol.
I didn't think it fits here although as you mentioned she's so pretty she can rock anything as in I'm not offended by her wearing it LOL. But it doesn't seem to match her I guess is what makes it all wrong to me.
@ La Maravilla: Yeah I agree, I think she should've done something w/ the other side too. I'm waiting to see how this style will evolve. For some reason, I don't think its 'done' yet, lol.

i'm ALL abt thinking outside the box and doing that which is different. but just because it's different doesn't mean it's cute. cassie is GORGEOUS but she looks ridiculous. she's not owning this look, she just cut hair off half of her head so we'd talk abt her. mission successful. but is it hot? no. and not bc it's different, but bc it simply isn't her although she wants us to think it is. chicks like amber rose & the girl from j. davey are OWNING their looks. this gets two thumbs down imo.
I am at my desk crackin up! why because of "Normal Nancy" hahahaha that's my name, soooooo yeah I guess sometimes I can be, I like to mix things up a bit and have fun though. I like her hair, she can pull it off, but I question her motives for doing so. Seems like a publicity stunt since she has an album coming out. I'm not mad at her though, she's a pretty girl.
I am far from a Normal Nancy but this is so not pretty to me. But I'm not knockin' it! I've done (and will continue to do) crazy things with my hair, make-up and clothes so I'm definitely not the one to talk.
So funny. I looked at the pic and thought she went to a J Davey show and got inspired! I like daring looks here and there, but that looks a hot mess. No rhyme or reason. Just a randomly shaved side.
at first i was like YEAH! go cassie! but the more i look at her and her style it just doesn't seem to match. she is gorgeous though. you can't deny that fact.
Meh. Kesh rocks this look a WHOLE lot better. (Chickie even has tattoos on her head!) And I agree with the above poster, the girl from J. Davey rocks the heck out that look too.
Cassie...? Not so much. It's just kinda... there.
I *heart* Cassie a lot..but this look didn't move me...I too hope that she does "something" w/the other side...Hopefully she'll spice it up..more.

It looks stupid. She needs to either cut it all off, or cut more off, maybe into a mohawk, or just cut her hair shorter on the other side.

Publicity stunt. Christina M. and her are trying to breakthrough but its not working b/c we just don't BELIEVE them.
I hate her hair like this. She's going to eventually have to cut it all off and start over. But I can't talk, I have cut my own hair before with terrible results. We live and we learn.

Being unique is cool . . . but being an attention whore is not. I personally think she did this all for attention, either that or she has split personalities, lol!
It was unnecessary. that's not even her style. She's beautiful, but come on, be yourself.
I'm also waiting for the other side to be done. It looks like she wanted to cut it all off or do something really drastic and then lost her nerve. I'm not feeling it.
I think it looks better on Kesh (designer, dj, blogger, i'm probably leaving some other title out) but Cassie is beautiful.
I do not like this look at all! It just looks very unfinished.
