Back to Curls

The curls are back! I did a wash & go on Friday, using my favorite- Pantene's Relaxed & Natural conditioner and air dried. I had a busy weekend, on Saturday morning I got up and went to the Book Expo (at the Jacob Javits center)- Soooo inspiring! I learned a lot from various authors and other writers. The best advice I received- Keep writing, no matter what. For some it was tougher than others, but mostly everyone said it gets easier.

Saturday evening, one of my besties had a birthday celebration which included dinner, a party bus and a pole dancing class. F-U-N! So much fun. Let me just say I have a new respect for strippers- my triceps, biceps and feet (I kept my heels on the entire time- I surprised myself!) were KILLING me after that 2 HOUR class. We had a good time though, its definitely an excellent work out. The instructor had the baddest legs I've ever seen- she made climbing the pole seem so effortless! Trust me- that swirl around the pole isn't as easy as it looks!

Sounds like a great weekend. I've heard that the pole dancing classes/videos are a great workout. It would be fun to take a class with a lot of my girlfriends.

I've taken a pole dancing class, and I have total respect for strippers after that one. You guys looked like you had a blast.

I tried a pole dancing class for a friend's birthday, so I *feel* u on the soreness tip! We did an hour of chair dancing and another hour of pole, and they solidified the fact that I could never make it as a stripper, lol. Great workout...
