Camouflage'd

On Friday, I washed and used Aussie Moist as my leave-in, as usual. Now normally I make a middle part- this time I didn't make a part at all (to help camouflage some of the less-than-curly sections in the front). I simply used my fingers and Denman brush to place the hair straight back.
I think it worked out well because I didn't need any clips or pins...

What do you do to help camouflage your less than favorable section of hair?

When I do my twist out I'm sure to twist the front/middle pieces going straight back...then I can add 2 bobby pins and I'm ready to go!!

Readers Advice? I have a relaxer, but it's been about 2 1/2 months since my last touch up. I'm definitley at that hard to comb stage when I wash it, but I don't think my hair is at it's healthies right now so I'm holding out on getting a touch up until I restore it. I've been using Mizani products and I'm very happy with them but I wondered what you all might suggest in terms of caring for my new growth so that it doesn't begin to break. Thanks in advance!

Looks good!

I agree, bobby pins are lifesavers for when I put a part in the wrong area or accidently sleep with my twists laying in the wrong direction.

@ Blkberry: I would suggest to keep doing what you're doing, make sure you're also moisturizing as you go- Also, be sure to deep condition at least every 2 weeks! That's the key to healthy hair and preventing breakage.

I have relaxed hair and when I wear it curly, the right side of my hair has tighter curls than my left side. I've tried everything to get them to be equal but it's just not happening! I usually end up putting it back w/ some sort of clip. It's terribly annoying *sigh*

I haven't mastered the whole styling thing, but I just throw it in a high bun (4rm the CurlyNikki vid). My hair is verrryy straight (but very thick) in the front, then in the middle it's 4a hair, then at the back of my head it's all 3c/3b.

With such a clutter of hair types, I've found so far the only way to keep them blending together is a bun. Sadly I haven't found anything else besides that :(

*Correction: I wouldnt say it's thick, but it is very frizzy.
