Friday's Dessert 7/10

I apologize if I may have inundated you with my Michael Jackson posts but you guys have NO idea how much this man meant to me and my childhood. Any-who, I've always loved this song from MJ (Will You Be There), and the words spoken at the end really touched me during J-Hud's performance at Tuesday's Memorial...

In our darkest hour In my deepest despair
Will you still care?

Will you still be there?

In my trials
Any my tribulations
Through our doubts

And frustrations

In my violence
In my turbulence

Through my fear

And my confessions

In my anguish and my pain

Through my joy and my sorrow
In the promise of another tomorrow

I'll never let you part

For you're always in my heart
-From "Will You Be There", (Free Willy Soundtrack)

RIP Mike

Have a joyous weekend!

Girl, you do not have to apologize. If someone meant a lot to you, it's your God-given right to mourn their passing the way you need to. Others don't have to understand, but they should be respectful. MJ meant A LOT to MANY of us. I know for me, MJ was my ENTIRE childhood. So no matter what folks say, no one can extinguish his impact.

All that to say... we are >>here<<. Lol. Happy Friday! :-)

This quote was so appropriate. It makes me cry b/c I think MJ passed while in an unhappy place. I love you MJ, RIP.

No apologies needed. Michael was a true genius. I also want to acknowledge Stevie Wonder's "I Never Dreamed You'd Leave In Summer" at the memorial. Awesome. One of my all-time favorite Stevie songs, and so appropriate.

I've been listening to only his music for days now. I miss him too...
