I apologize for not posting yesterday but I couldn't think of anything to write about! As of lately, the only thing thats been on my mind is SUN and SAND! I am in desperate need of a serious vacation... Under normal circumstances I would've certainly been planning a trip by now but since I'm not working, a trip at this time would pretty much be considered a luxury.
However, with everything thats unfolded in the past week, I'm sure we could all appreciate and luxuriate on the sand by the shore with a pina colada.
So, lets pretend...
- You're headed to the airport, it's a lovely day and you've got on your cute travel outfit.
- Your flight is smooth and arrives on time! Exiting the airport you step into balmy 90 degree weather. The palm trees are waving, welcoming you to the island. You've located your ride.
- You check in to your all inclusive resort and receive a glass of champagne as you and your luggage are escorted to your temporary home.
- After changing from your travel gear into your beachwear, you rush onto the hot powdery sand to finally be at peace...
- Everything in the world finally feels right...
Voila: You're in Aruba!
...You've just experienced a virtual vacation!
Now let's get back to real life :-/

I live in London and for the first time in a long time I can actually say NO, it's not raining!!!! We are in the middle of a heatwave at the moment with temperatures reaching crazy levels. Yesterday it was hotter here than in the Bahamas (no I'm not on drugs it's the truth)I'm also from Aruba and spent 6 months living out there 4 years ago (I also did my bc out there but thats a different story). As hot as it is here in London I would SO LOVE to wake up in Aruba tomorrow so I'm off to get my lottery ticket :)

LOL...Wes that was greatly appreciated. I have always wanted to go to Aruba. Actually the weather here in Florida is nice. I have been craving a cruise lately. I want to plan a vacay but tough times (just relocated back to my home state about 2 months ago). Hopefully later on this year. But in the meantime in between time a girl can dream. LOL. I'm in the midst of planning a staycation for the crew. i can't promise you beaches but i can promise you a good time w/ friends at minimal cost.

*sigh* I needed that, Wes. Thanks! It's sunny and beautiful in Florida but I can't enjoy it sittin' in an office. We both loose. LOL!

Not raining out here in Los Angeles, but I did have breakfast ny the beach this morning.We still have a bit of "June Gloom" in July...weather is nice but the sun wasn't shining. The virtual trip was a lot better!!!
yep it's both rainy and sunny where i am (never mind we're supposed to be in the rainy season). Mother Nature is doing what she wants these days so we seem to get the best of both worlds, lol. hope you get nice weather soon though.
