Eye.Love.Lashes

I've probably said this a million times before but I LOVE long, shiny, dark eyelashes. I'm pretty much obsessed. I'm one of those people who will compliment someone on the length and dimensions of their lashes. I can't help it! I'm really tempted to try Latisse, but I don't want to pay for it. Although, I may just have to treat myself ;-)

If you're a lash-lover like myself, there are different levels of lashes affordable for everyone's price range.

Drugstore lashes: Ricky's NYC has the best and biggest selection (between $5.99 and $7.99)! I'm waiting for an event to try these (haven't worn them yet)

Department store lashes: MAC #35 lashes is a favorite of mine ($13.00), as with most strip lashes, these can be worn several times. After each wear, I always soak in alcohol for a few minutes.
(Me w/ MAC #35)

Luxury lashes: XTreme Lashes ($250 - $600) are applied by a certified lash stylist. These eyelash extensions are installed lash by lash (60 - 120 lashes per eye). The results are beyond gorgeous but the price isn't really that pretty.

Before XTreme Lash
After XTreme Lash

So, what's YOUR lash style?

I haven't tried these, but they look fun. Here's the link to Coastal Scents Mink lashes.

I love long eyelashes! They just give you that extra umph. Love it!

I like mine full, so I usually go for the short individual ones.

I love falsies to. I prefer strips simply because they are easier, but I am considering the individuals b/c they last longer.

I too compliment people on their lashes. Men always have the best. I just invest in mascara. I've never been able to put on lashes w/o them falling off or looking crazy. A tutorial would be nice, wes :)

I've been using Peter Thomas Roth's Lashes To Die For about 2 months and definitely have seen an increase in length but not so much thickness. Could be I'm not getting an extreme result because I already had long eyeleashes. But the result is okay for me. You can get without script for $125 @ Sephora and other places.

Cute chica. I must warn save your money on the extreme lashes. I had mine applied professionally and they started falling off within a week. She invited me back and reapplied a new set--the same thing happened. So now I just stick to the drug store variety...so when they fall off, i'm not upset.
