I missed you ALL! I spent a lot of time thinking and contemplating. There were times where I felt like I should just quit HBS altogether. I enjoyed not having the pressure to HAVE to write something. Keeping up a daily blog is tough- you have to know what your readers want, hope that they'll be interested enough to comment and then of course, keep them engaged and coming back for more.
I had felt like I was getting to a point where I was just posting anything, just to have something up on a daily basis. During my break I thought back to how hard I worked (almost 2 years ago) to bring this blog up to the point that it's at now, and it still isn't quite where I want it to be. I haven't been networking at all and I haven't done anything to bring new readers to the site. With my tight work schedule, I'd really fallen off.
However, HBS is back with a fresh new look and lots of goodies. You can still expect the same great content but with a different approach.
Love you guys sooooo much for reading HBS! Your words of encouragement and understanding really sustained me during a trying time. As I always say: I've got the BEST commenters around!! *Sugar* won't disappoint... Promise! ;-)

Yay! Welcome back. I, for one, am happy you didn't give up this blog. I love reading about new cosmetics & hair products. I'm excited & looking forward to the same great content (but with a different approach). ;-)
I don't think you should feel pressure to write every day. I prefer quality over quantity. Keep up the good work!

I'm glad you're back, Wes! Don't give up the blog. You're one of the best bloggers out there and I really appreciate your original content. I think it's ok to take breaks, strategize and reinvent the blog. YOU have to be in love with it first and foremost, or you won't be motivated to post...

Agreed with K1AA, don't feel pressured to write everyday. I'd rather have a good post then "hey guys...i don't have anything to say....so...um...yeah" lol! What you do post is great and that is why we continue to read.
As a fellow blogger (and friend, yaaay) I know the struggle of trying to be an awesome blogger. We take it seriously b/c our readers mean a lot to us. And it is SUPER hard if you have a full-time job. But hang in there...you are SO needed in the blog world. And at least you live in a city that provides you many opportunities and events. Girl, you know don't crap go on in Flo'duh. Shoooo...
