Curls and Caps?

The two usually don't mix. I've met several women who don't don hats in the winter for fear of smashing the curls that they worked so hard to create. This is primarily why I'll go for a more subdued look with roller sets (big, loose curls) during the frigid winter months.

However, for those cold days when I do rock my natural curls, I have two knit caps that I can wear that won't mash them up. They don't really keep my head warm though, I still have to end up putting my hood on.

Here are several examples of the 2 hats that I have:

I wanna know: Do you wear caps/hats over your curls?

I almost never wear hats. I can never find any that fit my head properly, since I usually wear a high bun, and are lined to protect my hair. I have a fantastic wool coat that has a satin lined hood, so I just wear that to keep my head warm. I also have earmuffs, which help keep me warm.

I wore a knitted cap for the first time yesterday and it worked out pretty well. I'll be exploring my hat options.

I actually buy the same style hats that you have posted up. I also stitch a piece of silk to line the inside and prevent frizzies.

I almost always wear a wool hat like the ones you have displayed, and I wear my silk bonnet underneath. My hair usually survives.

I can't make it through winter without my hats. I wear a hat all day 2-3 days a week. More if we are having extra casual days at work.

I love wearing hats during the winter. I have about 10 different kinds and I switch them out often. People are always laughing when they see me in a new hat. I think I added 2 to my collection this year.

No hats. As much as I would like to wear them my hair is too big for the hats I like and I don't want my hair to get frizzy.

I have a hat like the purple one you posted. It's big enough to fit my hair under. I always wear my satin bonnet underneath to protect my hair and preserve the style.
