Being the product junkie that I am, I've found a product to trump my current favorite styler: Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Leave In Cream. I've been using the Bumble & Bumble Bb Gel (the Multi-Talented Sculpting Medium) to style my last two wash & gos and I absolutely LOVE it.According to the label:
The multi-talented sculpting medium that molds firm and shiny shapes, or brushes into soft, yet still shapely forms (and it's alcohol free)
This isn't your typical gel though, as you can see. It's not flaky nor drying, and it really sculpts your curls. I haven't had to twist that frizzy section in my crown since using the Bb Gel. Quick drying and non-tacky, the gel provides everlasting shine and hold to your curls.
After drying my hair underneath my bonnet dryer, I noticed that my hair was quite stiff, BUT after running my fingers through each curl to separate and fluff, my curls suddenly expanded and were very full. There was no flaking, no residue on my fingers- my hair was very soft and shiny. I absolutely love this product. This is my first time trying a Bumble & Bumble product and I'm completely pleased with it.
The price? $24 for a 5 oz tube. Totally worth every penny. Keep in mind though, a little goes a very long way. I've used it twice now and my tube looks barely used.

Where are Bumble and Bumble products sold? Do you think a little goes a long way with really thick hair?
Curious about the bonnet dryer you use. Can they be purchased at most beauty supply stores? Also, my hair is shoulder length and don't know what size roller to use. I'd like a nice loose curl. Thanks.
Hey Wes!. Your hair is always gorgeous :) What made you try this procuct? I have tried so many products that have failed me I stick to what I KNOW works even if it is not the "best" product. Do you read the ingredients and then make your decision to try it out? I have *product fear*!!! help :)
where did you buy, in my pjism i went looking for this asap but couldn't find, i even went to ricky's lol
@Hillerie, I'm not sure where they're sold, I usually see the line in Ricky's here in the city. Yes, a little should still go a long way. Remember to start out w/ smaller amounts so that you can always add more if necessary.
@Centenniel, I purchased my bonnet dryer a few years ago, it's from Hot Tools and was about $30. Use medium sized rollers get those loose curls you're looking for.
@Loveletters, Thanks! I actually came across this product by accident, it was inside of a gift bag I received. I used to be a stickler for product ingredients but honestly, I don't obsess over them any more. However, I do try to avoid products made with cheap fillers (Mineral oil, petrolatum)
@Jawahir, Noooo!! Really?? As I mentioned above, I received it in a gift bag. If you can't find it in stores, I would suggest purchasing it online. I know I will if I can't find it!
