I started to tweeze my brows at 13. I couldn't wear makeup until I was 15 so plucking my brows was somthing I could get away with. I have my brows waxed in the shop about every 4-6 weeks and do maintence myself at home.

Just like you, I prefer thick, full brows...It annoys me sometimes when I get my eyebrows arched, too much hair is removed, its like I have to begin the process of growing them all over again, ugh! I've always done my own brows. My tweezers stay in my purse in case a stray pops up while I'm out. LOL I recently taught myself to thread them so I'm practicing that occasionally but tweezers are my best friend. My boyfriend even comments on how perfect (his word) my brows are and was amazed when I told him I do them myself. I've read that waxing can increase wrinkling of the skin around the eye so I never tried. Too thin brows age your look also so full brows keep you looking fresh. Your brows look great Wes!

I think the threaded brows accentuate your eyes more and they look absolutely gorgeous! I understand what you mean about getting the right person to do them. When I get the shape I like, I maintain it at home with a tweezer as long as I can until it's time to reshape.

I do not do my own brows. I'm too scared they'll look lopsided. I like thicker/fuller brows too and would not be happy filling them in because a salon did made them too thin. I don't care for the tweezers very much (except for the occasional fiesty & stray piece) but I don't mind threading, waxing or the razor.

I love thick brows as well. I am so happy with my eyebrow threader. For anyone in Atlanta, I go to I-too on Flat Shoals and my threader is Shoba. I have went through so many issues with my eyebrows being too thin that I finally just let them grow all the way back in and started from scratch.

I am obsessed with thick brows. Since an incident in '08 I have NOT gone back. I maintain mine but get them threaded once a month. I don't even pluck mine. I let my lady thread and simpy brush them everyday. That's it. I love love LOVE yours!

your brows look great! i have had many issues with my eyebrows for years...i've tried keeping them up myself, but then i'll pluck the wrong hair and seriously mess them up...then i have to go throught the process of growing them out. then when i go to get them waxed, they do it waaaay too thin! when i lived in ny i got them threaded every month, and just tweezed the stray hairs in between, (my eyebrows take forever to grow back) but now that i live in md, i can't find a threader i trust, so i've gone back to getting them waxed, but now they're too thin again :-( i just hope i can get it together soon

I do my own brows, proudly. That's one less service I have to pay for. Lol. Granted, my girls get theirs waxed every few weeks, and they look great... but I feel like I have sparse brows to begin with, and I fear a beauty shop technician pulling out more hair than I would like. (I do NOT want the Whoopi look.) Maybe it's an unwarranted fear. But I do enjoy doing them. That growing-in process is a beast, though.

I love your brows so much!!!! I used to do my eyebrows myself, but I get super lazy in maintaining them. I now get them waxed, which I hate, but the girl does a decent job. I allow only one person to do my eyebrows, I call before I go in and find out her schedule so I can make sure she is there lol. I wish I could find someone in my area who does threading, it's just not done in Brevard county (I'm like an hour south from Orlando) I have noticed that my brows are slowly getting thinner and thinner so I think I'm going to grow them out this summer and then have them reshaped thicker.

Your eyebrows look amazing! I don't do my own brows. I get them threaded. Not religiously every two weeks, just once a month or so. I maintain the shape (or at least try to, with tweezers). I do set them with aloe vera gel as well.
